Cornwall Business Awards

St. Mellion International Resort, Cornwall, May '10

Alive Design was contracted by Pyramid Presentations to design the stage set for The Cornwall Business Awards 2010. We also provided venue and table plans for this prestigious event which seated 300 people.

The set was 24m wide overall and incorporated twin 3m widescreen projector screens, a central 7m wide full colour graphic wrap and fabric columns with colour changing LED lights.

SPAR

SPAR Tradeshow, Exeter, April '10

Alive Design was once again involved with Pyramid Presentations at all levels of this annual event.

Our work included the graphic design of the exhibitor's manual and the design and CAD drawings of the 4600m² exhibition floorplan. We were also responsible for production drawings of the entrance registration, the eight seminar theatres, the coffee lounge area (pictured) and the new business lounge.

The Barbican International Jazz & Blues Festival

Design of the official programme for The Barbican International Jazz & Blues Festival 2010. This comprehensive 40 page programme includes front cover design, welcome, sponsors introduction, full gig listings, gig and venue highlights, adverts, and new coded venue map.

Alive Design also delivered a full advertising campaign that includes new flyers, adverts, posters and bus graphics.

Bedec

Super-flex & Interior-flex, January '10

Design and layout of A4 leaflets for a new range of paint. We also adapted these A4 leaflets into actual paint can labels for both 5 litre and 2.5 litre cans.

Alive Design also designed and produced a range of exhibition graphics for the product launch.

Plymouth Respect Festival

Design and print management of all the graphics for the 12th Plymouth Respect Festival.

A major festival that takes over Plymouth City Centre for the weekend. The work involved
re-designing and re-working the logo and designing artwork for posters, vehicle graphics, festival programmes and the website.

Plymouth Respect Festival... to bring people of all backgrounds together to inspire respect for each other.

Barbican International Jazz & Blues Festival

Plymouth, September '09

Design and print management of the 'earlybird' poster/flyers and the business plan for The Barbican International Jazz & Blues Festival 2010.

This was a bespoke short run print of a 32 page full colour A4 business plan and also a mass print run of A5 flyers for next year's festival. The artwork was delivered for print and also for web use.

This festival is rapidly becoming an established date on the international Jazz & Blues calendar.

Design, build and project management of 11m x 11m custom build exhibition stand with Pyramid Presentations for Milk Link.

The design featured fabric screen walls with modular aluminium and custom build elements, incorporating a members hospitality area, meeting room, servery and storage areas.

Milk Link

LACA, Birmingham, July '09

Alive Design has designed, delivered and built another custom build exhibition stand for the Milk Link stable of brands.

This was all of 3m x 2m, used as a sampling stand to showcase and demonstrate the nutritional values of dairy products in the school catering industry. Once again we built vertically so that it would 'stand out' from the crowd.

Royal Cornwall Show, Wadebridge, June '09

Design and build, project management and print management of 10m x 15m custom build exhibition stand with Pyramid Presentations for Milk Link.

The design featured a solid sided / glass fronted marquee incorporating a members hospitality suite, separate retail shop, decking area, meeting room, servery and storage areas. The stand was situated in prime location in front of the main entrance to the whole showground.

Design, project management and print management of 6m x 3m custom build exhibition stand on behalf of Pyramid Presentations.

The stand was designed for promoting, sampling and selling a range of cheeses to the public and included plinth floor construction, large servery counter, built in display chillers and a full range of new graphics.

Thai Noodle Bar

B-Bar, Plymouth, April '09

Alive Design created a new logo and designed two new fresh and funky menus for the Thai Noodle Bar @ B-Bar in Plymouth.

We designed an A4 four panel roll fold version as well as a 'handout' A5 two panel folded version. This design was adapted and made into an A-board for outside the bar. The photography used was from the owner's recent trip to Thailand.

Ocean Services

South West Housing Event, Torquay, April '09

Alive Design was asked by Pyramid Presentations to design a custom build exhibition stand and exhibition graphics for Ocean Services.

The design and build incorporated a Wii games console with 51" plasma screen to get people involved with the stand, a reception counter with fridge, and a full colour graphic showing the community theme with corporate branding.

Ocean... at the heart of the community.

Go Surfing Project

Portugal, March '09

Eurico Gonçalves, Portuguese National Longboard Champion 2008, has set up his own surf travel operation. Alive Design was asked to develop a brand identity for his Portugal based surf company.

We designed logos that will be used on the blogs, website, corporate branding and even his new signature pro model surfboards which are currently being shaped.

We are now working on a full magazine advertising campaign for the company, as well as branding of vehicles and clothing. A work in progress, come back and watch this space for further updates.
